Sembodai R.V. Group of Institutions organized a Fire and Safety Awareness Programme on 29 June 2026 at 11:00 a.m. on the college campus to educate students about the importance of fire safety and emergency preparedness.

The programme was conducted by the Vedaranyam Fire and Rescue Services team, who delivered an informative session on fire prevention, safety precautions, emergency response procedures, and the correct use of various types of fire extinguishers.

The officers also demonstrated practical firefighting techniques and explained the appropriate actions to be taken during fire emergencies. Students actively participated in the programme and gained valuable knowledge on minimizing fire hazards, responding effectively during emergencies, and ensuring personal as well as public safety.

The management of Sembodai R.V. Group of Institutions expressed their sincere gratitude to the Vedaranyam Fire and Rescue Services team for conducting this highly beneficial awareness programme.
