Sembodai R.V. Group of Institutions successfully organized the First Year Inaugural Function for the Academic Year 2026–2027 on 06 July 2026 at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial Auditorium.

The programme commenced with the Tamil Thai Vazhthu, followed by the Lighting of the Kuthuvilakku, symbolizing the beginning of a new academic journey. The welcome address was delivered by Mrs. C. Sudha, Head, Department of Tamil, who warmly welcomed the dignitaries, faculty members, students, and parents.

The gathering was presided over by Rtn. Dr. R. Varatharajan, Founder & Chairman, Sembodai R.V. Group of Institutions, who encouraged the students to pursue academic excellence, develop strong values, and prepare themselves to face future challenges with confidence.

The Special Address was delivered by Rtn. R.V. Senthil, Secretary, Sembodai R.V. Group of Institutions, who motivated the newly admitted students to make the best use of the institution's academic resources, skill development programmes, and placement opportunities.

The occasion was further enriched by the Felicitation Addresses delivered by Dr. G. Sasikumar, Principal, Sembodai R.V. Arts and Science College, Mr. A. Chandrasoodan, Principal, Sembodai R.V. Polytechnic College, and Dr. S. Kumaresamoorthy, Vice Principal, Sembodai R.V. Arts and Science College. They inspired the students to remain disciplined, focused, and committed to their educational goals.

The programme concluded with the Vote of Thanks proposed by Mr. S. Natarajan, Vice Principal, Sembodai R.V. Polytechnic College, followed by the National Anthem.

The inaugural function marked a memorable beginning for the first-year students as they embarked on their academic journey with enthusiasm, confidence, and a commitment to excellence. The management, faculty members, students, and parents actively participated, making the event a grand success.
